Most of my career was in Brazil's internet and fintech sector. I started as a software engineer at UOL, Brazil's leading internet company. I later led its research and development department, ran its e-commerce businesses and was CEO of its cross-border payments subsidiary. From 2016 to 2022 I was CTO of PagSeguro (now PagBank). I built its technology organisation to more than 2,000 people. I also led the technology side of its listing on the New York Stock Exchange, and of its expansion from payments into banking, lending, insurance and investments.

The hardest problems I faced as CTO were never technical. They were about getting thousands of people to change how they work, and keeping a company committed to a change that takes years. That is the work I do now.

Where I am now

I live in Sydney, where I am completing the Full-Time MBA at AGSM @ UNSW Business School (2026 to 2027). I came to AGSM to add strategy, finance and negotiation to the technology side I already know. Leading a transformation means making the investment case and keeping a board committed for years, not only designing the target architecture.

In 2026 I won Pitch Perfect, the AGSM Career Accelerator's career narrative and pitch competition.

I take on advisory work with organisations in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, and I am open to conversations about senior transformation roles.
