In October 2026 I ran a guest session for the Future Leader Lab, a UNSW Sydney employability course. The session was about breaking down a problem before trying to solve it.
I used two real decisions from my career. One was at a comparison-shopping business. The other was a proposal to close an international office in Lisbon. Students looked at the facts available at the time, voted on what they would do and then heard what happened. What they valued most was seeing how different stakeholders and internal politics shaped each decision.
